Piezography BW plug in vs. Epson

Piezography BW plug in vs. Epson

2002-10-03 by humbertjm

Is there really a difference between the Piezography BW plug in
(version 5, I did not buy the v6 update, which appears not be
possible since the modification of the inkjetmall site) and the Epson
one?

I currently use an Epson 1160 and piezo inks (mostly through the
Piezography BW plugin but any time with microbanding in dark areas)
and EAM papers and I'm going to switch to MIS FS Neutral.

The 1160 RGB Partitioned workflow for the MIS FS inkset (= original
PiezoBW inkset) and Epson driver appears to not have the banding
problems of the Piezo/R9 driver. Check out the Epson workflow before
you pitch your remaining PiezoBW inks or switch to FS-N. The 1160
partitioned workflow should also work ok with the MIS FS-N inkset.

Move to quarantaine
