individual ink dots

2002-10-10 by uda123cat

To all,
I am a new member to the group and to digital printing. Currently, I
am using a pc based system with an epson 7000 and the warm neutral
piezotone inks on photorag. When I print a photo I seem to usually
be able to see the individual ink "dots" on the print in the light
areas and the transition zones, say on a portrait on in clouds for
example. Has anyone experienced this and how does one deal with this
issue of being able to see ink "dots" or "specs". I apologize for
this type of newbie question, but any and all help would be greatly
appreciated.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

What driver are you using? Epson, PiezoPro, Imageprint? What is the image
source, scanned film or digital?
