I cannot recall anyone on this list ever mentioning flaking on PhotoRag.  I 
have had terrible problems with it lately but only on 13x19.  Then, I wasn't 
certain whether or not I had brushed each of the flaking sheets.  It is very 
discouraging.

Mark, I assume you are using it in rolls, and therefore not brushing.

To greatly improve flaking problems, get a very soft cloth and rub down
the paper before printing. If the cloth is soft, you can rub fairly hard
before any damage is done to most papers. It has practically eliminated
my problem.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
