Digital BW, The Print

Hey folks,

Somebody mentioned that they got the impression that the guys at MIS 
were simply topping off inks manually into open-top carts. Anybody 
else know about this?  What would be wrong with having a nipple in 
the top of a cart and filling it as required?  Is that too simple and 
bound to fail or what?

I've always been botherd by seeing the CIS hoses, full of ink ripping 
back and forth.  That must put strain on the whole system over time. 
My home-made hex CIS is still chugging on with no problems so far but 
I haven't used a full 4 0Z. set of inks yet.
