I live in Nova Scotia and envy those of u who have opportunities to
visit exhibits such as the Cuvee Napa exhibit. It wud b interesting 2
not only see the works themselves but the printing processes that
helped create images as those presented by Paul and others using
inkjet printers.

I find this rather amusing and yet quite sad as well. You are more
concerned with the style of the communication rather than it's
content. I, on the other hand, am more concerned about content. It is
your perogative to "boycott" my comments if you wish.
One of our Prime Minister's was being annoyed by an individual and
he tastefully suggested a course of action that individual might
take. He recommended that, and I quote "he fornicate elsewhere" end
of quote. I will leave it up to you to interpret the meaning. Also
Henry David Thoreau is quoted as saying " any fool can make a rule,
and any fool will mind it". I'm sure you can interpret this quote
without help from me.
Rather than cause any disruptions I will leave the list.

But b4 i go i thot i wud say thank u 4 all the help that was so
freely given 2 me and say that i truly appreciate it. Thank u again 2
all of u.

                           Regards

You can have both (content and style)! And the same goes for black and
white prints (just to bring this back onto the topic).

I too have added Jeff to my list of posters who I delete without reading because of his shorthand style. If someone would like to be taken seriously, he should write seriously.

Sounds like the traffic on our intranet...though I don't recall many quotes
from H.D. Thoreau (or anyone else, so far as that goes). Tim, you are
obviously versed in the King's, and perhaps other languages, so you might
consider writing in one style for us heathens and another for the IT
people...just a thought. I get messages in this same argot from our IT
staff, and, though it takes some time, I attempt to decipher them. As long
as everything works well with the multiple systems here, I am happy,
whatever the communication. If you cannot change and, nonetheless, can tell
me how to make neutral b&w prints with Epson color inks, I will translate
from Sanskrit if necessary.....

Tim,

Please don't leave the list! I think the content is the message. I can
usually tell what you are talking about. If someone else has no tolerence of
your style, let them leave and miss out on what you have to say.

Closed minds are small minds.

And if someone has an open mind, they are open to differences and can deal

Tim, regardless of who's right, your writing style seems to get you an
unusually low amount of responses to your postings. So it's really just
a question of what you want most - meaningful answers to your questions,
or to keep your writing style exactly the way you prefer it and be
ignored by a large percentage of the members on this list?

Incindentally, I'm reminded of this little text every time I read your
posts:

A Plan for the Improvement of English Spelling
by Mark Twain

For example, in Year 1 that useless letter "c" would be dropped to be
replased either by "k" or "s", and likewise "x" would no longer be part
of the alphabet. The only kase in which "c" would be retained would be
the "ch" formation, which will be dealt with later. Year 2 might reform
"w" spelling, so that "which" and "one" would take the same konsonant,
wile Year 3 might well abolish "y" replasing it with "i" and Iear 4

Daniel

Thank you for this post maybe the IMHO and BTW'ers will see the error
of their ways. Perhaps if IT personnel heard all the jokes about
their communications skills, mostly made about them behind their
backs,. they might also get the message.

if it is truly worth putting in a sentence it's probably worth writing
out completely.

Then on second thought, they probably will not not get the message.
