Hi,
I have just finished creating custom curves for glossy paper with the
Ultratone inks. Here is my setup (very similar to yours):
- Ultratones with photo black
- Epson 1280 printing at 2880, no color adjustment, photo quality
glossy film media selection, Epson driver
- My own curves just completed. I found that the Roark curves didn't
work as well as I would have liked on glossy paper.
- Epson Professional Glossy Paper (only available in 13x19 or rolls,
but it has a surface I prefer the most). This paper has mild
bronzing, but I use an overspray and that essentially eliminates the
problem.
- I also found I needed to remove the rollers.
I just sent some sample prints to MIS for evaluation.
Please contact me off list if you would like me to send you the
curves I made. It would be good to have multiple people try them out.
Regards,
Dirk
