Digital BW, The Print

In the nozzle check, the lower left hand block had big gaps. I used 
Fantastik to clean the sponges and everything else in sight. Doesn't 
help. It prints out with scattered horizontal ink splats all over the 
page when I print the alignment setting. This printer is almost 3 
years old and has only had MIS quadtone inks in it. Can anyone 
experienced with the 3000 help? I've spent 2 days on this, to no 
avail. Thanks. Arlene

In printing 17x22paper, the first 3/8" of the image bands and the 
upper left corner of the paper gets black ink on it and a little 
bend. Also, the image no longer centers. I use PR 308 paper. This 
doesn't happen on 13x19 paper. I'm also planning to upgrade to a 
4000, but would really like a 7600. Since my format is 35mm, is 24" 
x? too great an enlargement? I see that the 4000 has a picoliter size 
of 3.5 and the 7600 is 4 picoliters. Is there a printer with a 
smaller drop? My thanks to all you people in this  group - You're my 
only contact with others doing digital B&W, and I value it highly.
