Martin,

I know it's impossible to get rid of spammers, and thank you for the hard work you and Antonis are doing for the list.
Maybe the first on the list to read a spam email could reply adding SPAM to the subject, as I'm doing right now, so that when you order your messages by subject you can see it before opening the original one...
This only works for people who receive individual messages, obviously.
Do you think it could help?

Alessandro

* Don't go there, all you get is one popup after another - no pictures.

Alessandro,

And lots of pop-ups! This and the "Model Photo..." from fotoman are spam
that is slipping by Yahoo. I can see where these people joined the group but
cannot find a record of them in the membership list. Typically they join
just before they send out the spam. Hit and run artists.

I am deleting these posts from the forum when I find them but for those of
us who receive individual e-mails you get a copy almost as soon as it is
posted.

Alessandro,

Well on the one hand that sounds like a good idea but on the other we just
increase the volume of OT messages. I think that a warning on messages like
this one that blast your screen with a ton of pop-ups is in order though.

Seems to me that there is a hole in Yahoo Groups security at the moment. We
have been hit with SPAM about 4 times recently and the last from another
Yahoo group. (interracialmatch).

Hopefully the volume will stay low as there does not seem to be much we can
do.

Martin
