Isabel.. The "blobs" are usually caused by filling the CIS bottles too high.. You can alleviate THAT problem by RAISING your printer about an inch higher than the bottles..( I used an old "SHUTTERBUG" magazine under the printer)..Your other problem appears to be "banding"..Search the group archives..You may find an answer.. A friend who has the system advised me to get a refurbished Epson 1280
to use with this system for black and white since I couldn't get
decent b/w from my Canon S9000.
The system hasn't worked right from the start. Only 1 or 2 good
prints (and they probably could be even better). NOzzle checks have
voids all over the place most of the time. Numerous head cleanings
don't help.
