Digital BW, The Print

I posted this in the Epson 2200 group and got no response so I am 
hoping that someone here can help me!

I recently re-formatted my hard drive and re-installed all of the
programs, drivers, ect. Now, when I try to use the Epson profiles
to print from Photoshop 5.5 I get a grainy orange cast to the prints
(it also shows on the preview). I do have the Printer Color
Management box unchecked. Also, printing with the pinter color
management box checked and set the color space to Adobe RGB, it
resolves the orange case, but leaves the colors washed out and odd
looking (preview looks fine).

I have worked on this for the past five hours and can't make a dent
in the problem...HELP!
