really frustrated here . anyone help me move the ink carriage ?
can't install inks because ink lid can't open because it is too far
to the right. I guess I have a lemon right out of the box. once on,
the power switch won't turn off without pulling the plug. will have
to call in AM for technical support unless someone has a quick fix.
  Any ideas?

Ok, what does the manual say about changing the cartridges?? Some printers have a separate button to push to move the carts, others use a combination of power/feed, etc. I'm not familiar with the 2200, but it should explain it in the manual??? (Well, I'm still looking at the obvious here, so if you've tried, let me know. :)

One of my printers required that I hold the ink button down for several
seconds. That is what I was doing with the 2200. The ink carrier would take off
and move around but it would not stay out where I could open the top to put in
cartridges. I was trying everything to get the ink carrier to stay out so I
could switch out the black ink from photo to matte. I was so frustrated.
Finally someone told me not to hold the button down, just tap and that did it. That
is very simplistic but maybe it will help.
