OK. What do you folks consider "glazing"??

OK. What do you folks consider "glazing"??

I've been reading with interest everybody's posts about spraying and
coating and matting etc. Some people also mention "glazing". I
thought that spraying was glazing. Is glazing a different process
after all? What are some good glazing methods?

Thanks for any help.

So if I customarily matt and frame my photos under glass that would be
considered "glazing"??

Obviously I'm a little confused by the term here ;-)

Don,

Glazing means glass or plastic over the mat. Something needs to be between
the picture and the glazing. Sprays, laminations, etc. the adhere to the
picture would be "coatings."
