Pretty big for dye, maybe, but very fine for pigments, which are paints, sort 
of.

The R800 will supposedly be able to make 1.5pl drops out of the
Ultrachromes. I think they're learning to make smaller particle pig inks.

I wonder how BO prints would look with the 1.5 pl drop size and 
5760x1440 resolution.

Probably fabulous. Even though I've got a 2200, I'm tempted to buy the R800
when it comes out, just to see. It's not that expensive a printer.
