Roy, Thanks for the reply and info. Since I don't have PS 6 or 7, resaving the acv files is not an option for me. Paul, are you using PS CS? If this is indeed the problem, could you resave the files with PS 6 or 7 and post them somewhere? Bummer finally getting the UT2's after 1 1/2 months and not be able to give them a full tryout! It appears the curves made on my Photoshop CS are incompatible with older Photoshop as well as Picture Window programs. I loaded PS 7, opened and re-saved all the UT2 curves. That appears to remove the problem. So, anyone with an old PS version or PW who wants the new curves, there are now curves that should work. I have sent the entire set to MIS, but I don't know when they'll be able to put them on the web. I have also set up a download page on my web site. Go the bottom of www.PaulRoark.com and then to the download page. (Not being an Html expert, there is something wrong with my coding. On my computer the downloading seems to work, but from the server my system wants to treat the files as *.htm files instead of *.acv files. So, I have to use a right click, then "Save Target As" and finally re-name the extension. Perhaps someone familiar with Html could look at the coding and tell me how to correct it.) You probably know this, but you could zip up all those files into one ZIP file... clicking that file should prompt the user with a "Save to" dialog box. Otherwise, you'll have to notify your server administrator that you have a new MIME type with a unique file extension (.acv)... he (or she) will then have to configure the server to treat files with that extension as a downloadable only. m Paul Roark wrote: > It appears the curves made on my Photoshop CS are incompatible with older > Photoshop as well as Picture Window programs. Mike, >... you could zip up all those files into one ZIP file... I downloaded a StuffIt demo that seems to be able to do that. Unfortunately, after successfully transferring the self-extracting *.exe file, I can no longer upload anything. The FTP program stops dead at STOR (filename). The next effort to do anything results in a "failed port" error message. >Otherwise, you'll have to notify your server administrator ... That is not easy with Verizon. The "free" space I get with DSL appears to no longer be serviced. They won't take phone calls and the e-mail address I've been directed to no longer exists. (And we broke up AT&T for this??)
