Paul any news on your 4000?

I've noticed they are starting to ship now, albeit in the usual
Epson dribbles.

Wondered if you had reserved / received yours yet. The preliminary
reports I have heard are excellent - can't wait to see what UT7+1
will do in it!

Steve,

No, I have no news on the 4000. It's on order, but I have the impression
there is a rather long line. Some have said summer is the realistic
expected delivery time.

Paul-

I was second on the DigitalArtSupplies.com list. They say they got
10% of what they requested and that they are telling people who order
there now to expect and 8-10 week wait. I would assume it's about the
same at inkjetgoodies.com and inkjetart.com as there was a scramble
to be the full-on Epson dealership over the last few months and they
all got priority order filling (presumably no lesser status store
will get any until the premier dealer orders are filled).

I'll post some reaction when I get mine, but I'm not expecting to use
it a lot until there are curves/RIPs available...we'll see what it
does out of the box (hopefully) mid-week.

cheers,

Tom O'Connell

Inkjetart.com shipped mine two days ago, on Friday. They told me there
were 30 allocated to the US last week, they got 7, and I was #4 on their
list of 180.
