Q For Roark - UT FS Inks

Q For Roark - UT FS Inks

2004-05-21 by Shilesh Jani

Hello paul,

I have received MIS UT FS inks for use with my custom workflow on a
1280. But I forgot to order the magenta ink I need for modifying ink
tone.

Q: I have some MIS GP (designed for 1280 printer) magenta ink. Will
this ink be compatible when added to the FS dark ink? Or should I
just buy a 2200 mageta cartridge and decant ink from it?

Thank you and regards.

Shilesh

Shilesh,

I think the MIS GP inks are the 7600 inks with the viscosity lowered for the
1280. I believe they'll be compatible with the UT inks.

Paul:

I just recieved my order of U2 and GP inks. What B&W paper for glossy
would you start with? I tend to use Someset Velvet EP for most of my
color work, so am looking for BW and color glossy paper.

Any suggestions? (esp. on the BW).

Regards,

Jeff Lee
