new 1160 or old 1200?

I apologise for sending this post as I've asked similar questions before. I have a 1200 that works fine with oem inks, but was torture with cart refilling with UT1 inks. Is there any reason why I should retire the 1200 in favour of a new 1160, which seems to have many advocates. I don't want to go through the nightmares I had with the 1200 any more with the inkflow problems I experienced - a lot of my ink went in cleaning cycles.
