Can you believe it? Quads have been out almost 7 years!
I would have to say "a long strange trip" and a liberating, wonderful,
satisfying and expensive journey.

All of that indeed. There should be a specialty class of therapists
for us. Maybe guys with the intellect and emotional maturity to have
gotten out.

hmmm.....
Call my people Steve, I think we can fit you in next week. Roy, send
me your mailing list.

With what you've spent you could probably afford a sporty new car,
which might be better therapy at our ages.

Not to 'niggle', but age may be it's own therapy. A friend of mine said he would know he had arrived when he had a new Porche, a Hasselblad around his neck, and Barbie sitting next to him. Now that he's 'grown up' he settled for a VW van, an $300 digital camera, a little house he built in the hills in Texas, and a wife that ain't Barbie (thank goodness). And he's a AARP member!!!

AARP was Congratulations Roy

2004-07-11 by Tyler Boley

I think I outgrew his idea of arriving just as he did, but I sure
wouldn't mind having the old XK140 I was foolish enough to get when I
was young and stupid.
You know, just to sit and read the AARP magazine in.

Yep! I think many of us have several of those gas guzzling ghosts in our past. Can you imagine someone in 30 or 40 years saying "I sure wish I still had my Epson 9600?".
