paper hunt

2004-09-23 by pontusman

Hi everybody!

I am trying to get hold of the Condor BW paper (Hawk Mountain Papers)
Since I have read that this is the paper to use if you are looking
for neutral tones using the BO method on an Epson 2100.

I'm living in Sweden so I wonder if any one knows how to get hold of
it in Europe, I have been looking all over for but with out any
result. It gets really expensive to have it shipped from the U.S.

The only brand in Sweden (except the usual: Epson, hp....) is Perma
Jet. Is there any one who has tried Perma Jet papers?
It is a paper and ink jungle out there and I have wasted so much
money on trying to get good B/W results with my Epson 2100.

My aim is to get neutral B/W photo quality images for my new
portfolio.
This forum is my last hope.....
Cheers.

And, Epson Ultrasmooth FIne Art is very nice. Again, no OBA's.

Somerset Velvet is also nice. More texture, and a bit whiter.

Okay, thank you for the information.
I guess I will have to buy a sample pack and see what works for me.
Do you know anything about the Perma Jet Omega paper, if it works
with OB??
