2200 with OSX, compatibility?

2200 with OSX, compatibility?

I'm thinking of buying an Espson 2200, and some of the reviews I'm reading, mostly older 
ones, mention that with Mac OSX you can't use the roll paper feeder, and can't print 
custom panoramic sizes. There were also complaints about firewire compatibility with the 
2200 and OSX. Has Epson come out with newer drivers that address these issues?  
Anybody know?
As long as I've got your attention, any comments about Sundance Septones with this 
printer, using a CIS?

2100 and OS-X 10.3.5 no problems with Roll Paper.  No need for firewire.
Just use USB.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
