Need someone to test quadprofile for windows

Need someone to test quadprofile for windows

2004-12-07 by Daniel Staver

I've translated Roy's quadprofile script to Windows. It will allow you
to create profiles for QTR on Windows the same way you can on Mac and
Linux.

Right now I'd like some help to test the script, sort out the last few
bugs, and make sure it works with the various printers supported by QTR.

You should feel reasonably comfortable running a program from the
command line and editing text files. There's no GUI for this thing.

Let me know off list if you're interested. There's not much
documentation, but we always have the document that was written for mac
and linux which should cover most of what you need to know.

I'd like to try it out.

(I'd contact you off-list but I don't see an email address in your
yahoo profile, nor one on your website).

How is this going?
I'm hoping to have my eye-one pro received soon, and looking forward
to trying the "tested" scripts over the holidays.

John and Daniel,

I'd be very interested in this profiling port also -- please keep me
in the loop and I'll be happy to run some i1 tests to support the
effort with some different inksets and printers...

Thanks!
Richard

The program works reasonably well as long as you give it properly
formatted ink descriptor files. Error handling is lacking and
documentation non-existent except for the Linux and Mac documentation
which many people find a little hard to fully understand all at once.

I expect to finalize the scripts during the holidays, but I'd be happy
to send you the current version off list.
