Stitching with a D70?

Stitching with a D70?

2004-12-12 by Richard Smallfield

With all this talk of stitching photos with a 10D I checked my D70 - it doesn't seem to have the capability. But is there another way to do it with special software?

thanks,
Richard

You take individual photos and then stitch them with the software. It is
not a camera capability.

Do Google on "PTassembler"...stitching can turn your D70 (or any
film camera) into med. format equivalent or better after the
learning curve...with a tripod, and practice you will be printing
very nice prints. Mark

Hi Richard,

You don't say what platform you're on, but...

PS CS has built-in capability for stitching panos. One of the gui front-ends for Panotools like PTGui or PTAssembler will get you started. Or, if you want/need the best of the best (IMO) check out Realviz's Stitcher 4.0.

Good luck,
Alan Huntley
