Is there a way to print 5x7 prints on my C86 with MIS UTW set? Regards, John
2004-12-17 by Paul Roark
John, I don't see that there would be any problem with 5 x 7 prints. I usually figure the maximum image length at 10.2 inches. I usually put 2 or more smaller prints together on a letter-size sheet, but the paper size is variable, with 8.5 inches just being the maximum width. Paul, Thanks for your suggestion, I will do it your way. I was hoping to use some 5x7 paper I have, but there are no settings on the C86 driver for 5x7 media. I just got my MIS warm inks today, I'm in love with the prints. Any sugestions on the best paper I should use, something other than glossy? John, My driver allows the "User Defined" custom paper sizes. If you're using the Epson driver (maybe not the one that comes with the computer), the upper left box on the Main tab of the Properties box is "Paper & Quality Options." The third space down allows you to arrow down to the User Defined. Hit that and a new box appears where you enter the custom paper size. Be sure to note the units you're dealing with -- 0.01 of an inch. So, 5 x 7 would be 500 by 700. Paul
