Image Print v6 Connectivity problem with dongle Windows XP

Image Print v6 Connectivity problem with dongle Windows XP

2005-01-10 by fchriscarter

I have recently up graded to IP v6 after using 5.6 without problems.
I can install IP OK and get the programme "Enabled"
When I turn my system on again after shutting down at night IP
cannot fing the dongle.
The IP Support staff are being very helpful but so far the problem
is not solved. After un-installing the dongle MARKS files and
reinstalling then re-inserting the Dongle the windows USP programme
runs but fails to make the necessary connection(Error Message) Then
when I start IP the dongle number is OK and I can print. After re-
boot same problem , no dongle connection. Looking in Windows Device
Manager there is an ! mark after installation against the USB v2
line. After the re-boot the exclamation mark changes to an red X
over the USB symbol. I did install Windows Service pack 2 when it
came out some months ago.
Anyone had this problem or ideas on a solution ?
Chris

Have you tried the Yahoo ImagePrint forum? They would probably be
the most likely group to help answer your question.
