I'm printing from PS on an Epson 2200 with a Macintosh, and I can't seem to get QTR(latest revision) to output using the 2880 dpi setting. Is this a bug, or is there some other setting somewhere that needs to be changed to enable this, or is it just not possible? TIA for any help! -Guy

I'm sorry to hear this; I've been using 2880 on my 7600 with the 2.15 version (requires seperate installation of QTR). It worked fine at that point, I hope Roy & Stephen get it going again. I like to print many of my images with a fine black keyline round the edge of the printed area. I find with QTR on Windows XP that the keyline is printed distinctly unevenly, showing a clear (to me) pattern on the long edges of the print. the line drifts slightly to left or right and then jumps back to its starting point (the drift is less than a mm) and repeats about every centimetre. I'm using an 1160 with UT inks, and don't see this problem with either photoshop or qimage printing directly. I've downloaded ver 2.1e to see if this has been fixed but it is still in the current version. Its similar to the problem John Houghton reported on 21st December, though not identical (affects all paper sizes, for instance). I don't see any response to that message. I guess its also related to the 'weird banding' reported by ldina, 'fixed' by adding a little noise - unfortunately I don't think Photoshop 7 supports 'noisy' colors for stroking a 2 or 3 pixel border so that solution doesn't seem to be possible in a narrow keyline! I have dried dropping the co lour of the keyline to about 90% black and the problem persists. Using an Epson 1160, Windows XP Home, UT inks. Is a cure for this being investigated? (or have I missed some other information?) thanks mike Mike Finley, http://www.efikim.co.uk

I am working with windows 2000 and I am not able to print at 2880 dpi as well. 1440 dpi looks great. When I try to print at 2880 dpi an error is generated and windows closes the program.

I have a similar problem : PC Win XP, Epson 2100 (=2200), QTR 2.1f if I do not choose any curve 2880dpi works, but if I choose any curve, the "QuadToPrinter" will end quickly with an error. On 1440dpi it works fine. As i am an newbie to QRT(since yesterday) it took me some time and a couple of reboots to figure it out. How are problems like this addressed?
