Using RIP with C86? Can you?

Using RIP with C86? Can you?

Has anyone used IJC/OPM, et. al. with a C86? Can it be done? Would it
work? Comments.

Thanks

Howard

To the best of my knowledge the C86 is not supported. Check the
Bowhaus website or call them and ask. I don't recall seeing it
listed as one of the printers they support.

Thanks Lou. Yes I realize its not listed. I contacted them and they
said that it might, they just havent tried. They also mentioned that
it works with the r800, which isnt listed on the site either.

I was wondering if someone who has both products (C86 & IJC/OPM)
has given it a try.

Thanks

Why would you? Why not spend the extra money on a better printer?

Seth

Thats a great question.

I recently bought the C86 and bulk ink, cartridges, etc. to get
started with B&W printing (Im a recent wet lab convert)... and now
I'm really groovin' the prints... and I want more control. I was
hoping that my investment could take me further without needing to
get another new printer...

Oh well... penny wise, pound foolish.
