qtr... curve1 and curve2

2005-02-04 by steve208242

apologies if this hs been covered before.

in the qtr dialogue we have a curve 1 and a curve 2 option. can someone explain why we
have 2 options? the documentation says that they 'are exactly the same' (as the previous
version of qtr)

thanks in advance

Steve,

I'm new to QTR as well, but my understanding is that the two curves can be
blended to create intermediate tones: eg - a warm curve in curve 1, and a cool
curve in curve 2. Or a sepia curve in curve 1, and a neutral curve in curve 2,
etc.

Lower down in the print dialog you will see an option for how much of each
curve to use in the blend: eg - curve 1=25%, and curve 2=75% for a slighty
warmer print.

Hope this helps.
