two questions regarding qtrgui and qtr

two questions regarding qtrgui and qtr

2005-02-18 by mehrdad

1) i set up the monitor directory in qtr gui and it shows on bottom of
the screen that it is monitoring but when i copy files into that dir
nothing happens.

2) i have two epson 2200 , one attached and one networked (both xp),
when i print from qtrgui (via qtr) to the local printer, everything is
fine, when i print to the network printer, the margins are off and not
centered and i have stup both of these printers exactly the same?

what is it that i should be doing ?

I have been unable to reproduce the problem of monitoring not working.
However, at least one other person is having the problem. First, be sure you
are running version 2.2 of QTR. Then, provide me with some detailed
information:

What OS and service pack level.
How are you getting the files to the monitored folder? Copy/paste?
drag/drop? or whatever. Are you using explorer or another application to do
it?

Do the files stay in the monitored folder?

Anything else that might be unique to your situation.
