How do those figures compare with the K in those ink sets, Nick?

And am I right in guessing that the C position inks don't cause bronzing on
glossy paper? Is that the reason for your excitement? (Sorry, perhaps I should
have been paying closer attention).

It would be terrific if you could share your curves with the 'community' here,
once you get them right.

The PK still gives the highest dmax on Kirkland at 2.23.

Yes.

Sure. I will update my QTR-info web page with links for downloading
profiles I have made. This is probably the most exciting discovery for
me as I like to print on both matte and glossy.

Here are the numbers:

Media        PK        UTFS-Cyan    VM-Cyan
======       =====     =========    =======
Kirkland 2.23 2.03 1.9 (cool toner lowers dmax)
SmoothPearl  2.23+     2.12         1.88 (same as above)

Even at 1.9 dmax the VM-Kirkland curve yields beautiful prints. The
FS-Kirkland curve is absolutely fantastic. Visually the two prints are
very comparable when placed side by side. You can't tell that there
were printed without K  :)
