9600 QTR and Roll applications

It seems that the QTR rip on a 9600 does not have roll capability, with utilization of the paper cutter. I am I right? Do you have to use the sheet media setting on the printer for rolls? This rip is beautiful and I am totally grateful a million times over, but it is very slow. It would be nice to just put everything on the roll and have it trim itself. John
