Hello, I am brand new and have two burning questions.

2005-05-02 by The Man I Was

Hello, I am running XP and have a Epson 1280 and using Ham. Photo Rag
paper. I was looking at getting the selenium tone piezo inks from
inkjetmall.com, I dont need the option to vary tones. I downloaded the
program and was wondering what options would be best to use with the
ink, or should I make my own profile, or has anyone made a profile
that works perfectly for them? Thanks a lot.

Is there any more information needed?

IMHO, if you are going to use the Piezotones without a RIP, you should
seriously consider the iQuad profiles:

Kris...If you do not want to vary the tone, I agree with Bruce...get
an iQuad profile. I run the 1280 with Piezotone Selenium/Port. Blk.
on PhotoRag and have the iQuad profile and get really good results. I
also have a 2200 and QTR, but for matte and a selenium look the iQuad
suits my taste better. Hope this helps...Val
