OPM Problem

OPM Problem

2005-05-03 by nsapc

I cannot import, preview nor print any psd images under Win XP with
a 2200 Epson. I can print a test image and jpeg's. The psd file
option does NOT appear in the file type drop down menu of the import
dialogue box.

I converted a psd image to tif in PSCS. I could import but not
preview or print this file. The error message "Access Violation at
address 00422FBB in module OPM.exe. Read of address 00000000".

I suspect Quicktime 6.5.2 may be involved in the issue. When
installing, I checked the box to view psd images.

When you whent to import the file, did you select All File Types from
the file type drop down box? PSD files display and open fine for me.

If that is not the issue, I'd send Joe an email.

I reinstalled all of the applications this past weekend following
the need to format my hard drive. Prior to that, OPM worked fine
including psd as a choice from the import file list. The problems
arose following the reinstall.

I used the *.* choice when psd files (as a separate choice) no
longer appeared. This did display the psd files but to no avail.
They would not preview nor open even after selected. Converting a
psd file to tif in PSCS was an effort at a work around but again to
no avail. The file appeared but when selected, no preview and the
address access violation error message prevented any printing.

I have emailed Joe and have yet to hear from him. Hopefully he will
provide some solution.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
