Sherwin- Since none of the more experienced guys on the forum have
responded, here's a stab . . .
HPR- Hahnemuhle Photo Rag.
PR- Hanhnemuhle Photo Rag.
RAG- Hanhnemuhle Photo Rag.
AARGH- Leaking second-party ink carts; also used idiomatically to
mean splattered ink or spilt milk.
YUK- Anything Epson OEM, especially ink.
EEM- Epson Enhanced Matte paper (YUK).
CONSTPTN- Clogged jets.
EBONI- A dark African wood ground into powder for ink. Offers
excellent DMAX (see below). Clogs jets (see CONSTPTN above).
MIS- The Nigerian trading company that distributes EBONI via email.
(Be sure to open the attachment over a disk or else AARGH.)
LINEARIZED: Any print of straight lines, such as railroad tracks.
DMAX- American slang for "black cat."
FINE ART- Any print passing the spectrophotometer test at .01, 2.2,
3.47 or better.
YIKES- I poked myself in the arm with an ink syringe and injected 3
ml @ $0.62/ml.
Sorry, I don't know any of the others either.
