Sorry to intrude but I have nowhere else to turn and I'm under the gun. For some reason all my filters except for blur, noise, sharpen etc have vanished. I especially need access to watercolor at the moment. Does anyone know how I may have removed them and more importantly, how to get them back? Thank you for your patience and indulgence. Your image isn't in 16-bit is it? Most of the filters only work on 8 bit images. Tim Timmermans wrote:

Tim, It sounds like your image may be in 16 bit mode. Try converting back to 8 bit (under Image > mode) and see if the filters are then accessable. Tim: I use photoshop CS2, but I suspect your image may be open in the 16 bit mode. When that is done, several filters are not available. Go to Image/Mode/8 bits. That should solve your problem. Gary www.pbase.com/garyallenbrown
