Hi Dean:
I like my Epson P2000. 40 GB storage holds a lot of raw frames and the
display is great. No CD writer so 40 GB is the limit. I've never used it
outside 115V AC territory, so I don't know what it would do on 220. (But
these power warts are usually smart enough to adjust; or you get a different
one.)

Hey!

Anyone care to share their thoughts on portable hard drives/storage
devices (for dumping memory cards into) that will work internationally
(i.e., I can charge it anywhere).

In my defence, these digital images will often end up as B&W inkjet
photos ;-)

OT Using Eboni as a spotting ink

2005-10-21 by Peter De Smidt

I have some warm-toned, fiber-based, silver-gelatin prints that need
some very dark spotting ink. I've tried a few, such as various Spotone
and Marshall inks, but the match isn't that great. I need more density.
Since I have bulk Eboni on hand, I thought that I'd give it a try.
Comments? Can it be diluted with distilled water?

As I recall the 80gb model (P4000) has been announced. Don't know about
availability in the U.S. yet.
