Digital BW, The Print

If anyone is thinking of sending color targets out for a custom Museo Max
profile, you might want to discuss it with your service provider before
printing them.
On my 2200, using no ICM in the epson driver for enhanced matte with OEM
inks looks good up to 68% then nosedives and is totally blocked up by 90%.
It looks much better using color controls, and I will be looking for a
compromise setting before printing any targets.

The colors are wonderfully rich, saturated, and hold detail well, so I
believe I\ufffdm going to really like this paper for color, as well as BW.

I'll have to check the ink limits on my RIP and compare it to other 
papers, I didn't think it was much different from things like the 
Hahnemuhle papers. I'll get to that sometime this weekend and let you 
know what I find.

I only had one sheet left from my sample pack to try colour - but I printed
my usual "test print" which happens to be one which is usually hard to print
just right

I used the Crane free profile and it was really close - better than 90% of
the other profiles I have for different papers

And the colour print was very nice too
