The hextone printers make better prints than the quadtone printers with the
MIS VM inkset.  I don't think the difference is visible in normal prints,
but 6 inks are measurably better on test strips.

I like my 1160 mostly because it's that much easier and faster to mix and
load inks for cartridges.  If one is not messing around with inks, however,
the hextone printers are great.

I find the 1280 slightly smoother, and more detail in shadows than the
1160.  Just a little. The 1160 seems a tiny bit sharper than the 1280.

Get a 1280 and a Niagra CIS from media street. You'll have the latest
printer, and the quality is fantastic.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
