For matte prints I use Lascaux Fixativ. It has the least impact on the
dmax, which is usually lowered by a light spray. Three light coats of
Lascaux are usually invisible. The art stores carry it. It's used
frequently by pastel painters.

For glossy prints I like Premier Art Print Shield. This solvent-based spray
does a good job of hiding bronzing, water-proofing, and extending life (due
to UV blockers).

The relatively good nozzles on the above two spray cans are among the
features that distinguish them.

I am using DCP that I get from Shades of paper. I have primarily been using
it on Innova Smooth Cotton, but some other papers as well. I use a 50/50
mix of glossy and Satin. I was going to get together with Dan Burkholder
sometime this week and look at some Breathing Color sprays that he has been
using. Some of these surfaces get surface abrasion by looking at them, so
spraying seemed like a necessary step.

I like it because it is water based, and although I needed to completely
rearrange my studio space to accommodate the increased exhaust requirements,
glad that I did.
