Epson 7600 Menue

Epson 7600 Menue

2006-05-10 by roschko_leolevin

Hi everybody,

I am wondering if anybody is using the Settings at the 7600 Printer
menu ?
Yesterday I started to calibrate the Printer and checked also the
Printer settings (not in the Driver or RIP) in the Menu.
There are a lot of Settings, where I have no Idea, when I should choose
which option ... ???
Maybe there is an Epson-Pro her in this Forum who could describe the
Menu and what Settings he is using.
Of course I read the Manual, but the information I got out there was
poorly...

Thank you

Florian

Are you looking for someone to explain every single setting and option
in the menus, or do you have specific questions about certain settings?
To explain all the options and settings would take a very large amount
of time.

I actually mean these Settings which are relevant for Print quality.
I don't know what Settings these are ?
What is the "Paper Number" for and all the submenus like Thickness
Number, PPR FEED ADJ, DRYING TIME and PRINT ADJ.

thank you

OK, now I have something to work with. But may need to answer this when
I get home, that's where my manual is. In short, many of these settings
can be assigned to the paper number. So that when you load a paper that
you used under number 1 all the settings are saved. Thickness number
needs to be determined after printing a test pattern. Paper feed adjust
allows you to make the printer feed more or less paper per line in very
fine amounts to eliminate some banding. Drying time is simply how long
the printer waits before moving on to the next print, or cutting the
paper. Print adj I'll have to look up.

All of this can be user configured to achieve the best results, many
people just leave it on the "standard" or "default" settings.
