Inkpress Matte Papers

Inkpress Matte Papers

2006-05-24 by steveh0607

Hello Everyone,

I bought an Inkpress sampler the other day and ran the cool-tone, warm-tone, and velvet
papers on the same image on my printer that has Cone inks (QTR has these profiled) and
they look, to the naked eye, to have good dmax, and nice contrast.

Does anyone have in-depth knowledge of the paper charactaristics? I don't know if they
have been objectively tested or not.

Thanks, Steve

ps There's always a new paper out there isn't there!

I don't have indepth knowledge, but I do like the 250 warm photorag.
It was the first of the lesser known papers that I've used to give
good results - and very inexpensive and nice tactile feel.
