Digital BW, The Print

Quick question....  Can I top up the inks on the spongeless cartridges
before the ink runs out, or do I have to wait for it to empty in the
printer ?

I've been a lurker for a week.

And this is a question I can answer :  )

It doen't pay to let a cart. go empty. Having said that, one is governed to
some extent by the games the mfg. plays with cart. swapping.

going digital B&W darkroom with a ep3000, 1270, & 640. Needless to say, I'm
in way over my head. I got a quadtone 3000 kit and have to replace the
head - the black resevoir is/was pretty "caked", too. so I still can't find
the AP for the new head.
