If you are going to be in Brooklyn and want to see some Piezographs on display be sure to check out my show which just opened this past weekend. It's at Bonnie's Grill in Park Slope (278 Fifth Ave.between First & Garfield). It will be up through October. http://www.mtpphotography.com (click on the link for Angels with Dirty Faces) There are ten piezographs on display that were printed with a 3000 on 13'x19' Somerset Velvet Enhanced. The film was 35mm Ilford FP4 125 and they were scanned on a polaroid sprintscan 4000 using Silverfast 5. They are are framed and matted at 20x24 and look very good hanging on an exposed brick wall. They opening was very well recieved and I am excited at the positive reception the prints recieved. Everyone assumed they were regular silver or platinum prints and were curious to find out what the Piezograph Carbon-Ink process was all about. Most were shocked when they found out that I printed them out of my home studio on an inkjet printer. mtp
