I now have about twenty five empty cartridges for my Epson Pro 4800. Any suggestions as to what to do with them? Can they be refilled, or do they have exchange value. I have only used Epson ink. Thanks, Perry

Staples will give you $3 credit per cart, max per day. Credit is good for 90 days. Can be used for anything. Mark

I believe that Epson printers carts have recently been excepted from this offer but other manufacturers carts are still accepted--at least in my part of the country.

The trick is to find the "least dedicated to Staples" employee and they could care less. Mark

Stephen Petegorsky petegorsk@... www.sppohoto.com In my area (western Massachusetts) they are going to stop taking the Epson carts on September 17. They let you use a maximum of three credit slips per day. Stephen Petegorsky petegorsk@... www.sppohoto.com

Did you try to open one and see what's left inside ? As for the 9600 you still about 40% of ink inside ! suck it with a syringe and fill up the others supposed empty carts, that's your best saving. Is it possible with the 4800, I don't know but worth a try. Michel [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Or at least it isn't supposed to. Suck the ink out, and sell them on ebay. If they are the 110ml carts, I could turn them into a bottle system, but I have too many things going on right now to want them. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/Greg_E/7600bottle.jpg

For the 9600 you have to open the pastic shell, then you'll find a soft aluminium pouch containing the ink. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
