new Kirkland

My significant other brought home a box of "new" Kirkland glossy paper 8.5x11, made in
USA. I can compare the visible qualities with the original Swiss version, but I do not know
how to determine whether the paper and/or coating is acid free. I searched the archives but
didn't find any helpful comments on the new paper. Does anyone know anything about the
"acid" status of the new paper?

Thanks.
Myron

Adorama sells a pH Testing Pen that will indicate if the paper is
acidic. I'm sure there are others on the market as well.
