RE: Free Trial of CS3

RE: Free Trial of CS3

A number of people (including myself) who have downloaded the free trial of CS3 and then attempted to install a purchased version have had difficulty in it's installation. Adobe is aware of the problem and it would be best to check with Adobe on support before downloading the trial version. BTW, with CS3, you can convert RAW images to B & W in ARC very easily.Harris Harris J. Sklar Reflections by Harris www.harrissklarphotography.com reflectionsbyharris@... R First PhotosHarris J. For those wanted to load the 30 day trial after having the beta installed
you need to use the CS3 uninstall uitility. In addition for Mac users
Adobe has a scipt on line that will insure that all is removed. Once it is
all removed you can then install the 30day demo version. Once you are
ready to purchase/install the full version you should then just uninstall it
again and reload the new purchased version.

I have just done as described today.

AFAIK, on a Wintel, the script still leaves Bonjour installed.

Moreover, in some cases, even the Script doesn't do the job of cleaning
betas out enough to allow CS3 to install.

Have you checked to see if the Bonjour service is still on your system
