A shameless plug, But hey, the more ink being shown the better off we'll all
be. This particular exhibit features 25 16x20's, 3 11x14's and 1 20x24! MIS
Full Spectrum Inks(last months version) Epson 7000 printer and Piezo Pro 24
software. Almost all are printed on PhotoRag 308. There will be a few Epson
3000 Piezo ink prints up as well.

Right on, Steve!

Beautiful images at http://www.xray-art.com/

Since you've been going the chemical photography output route until now,
using a film recorder to make a negative for darkroom printing, it'd be
interesting to hear your experiences and opinions on inkjet output.

No contest! Ink and a decent scanner, paired with Piezo software wins every
time. I never was quite happy with 80% of my silver prints
from these negs. Many had to be done several times, (posterized tones, or not
sharp)The only good thing about 8x10 xray film negs is there BIG!
Somebody was doing lightjet output to film for digital negs that looked real
promising, Phil Baird maybe! Might try it someday!
I only have a few silvers that are as good as the Ink prints, contrast was
always a battle. The money I spent on digital negs could have easily bought a
7000!
I got into digital because I didn't have an 8x10 enlarger, nor access to one!
Plus they cost thousands. Digital let me dabble at my own financial speed.
But you should see the size of my recycle bin for ink prints that's almost 4
years old. ;0) No regrets though!
