Epson 2200 Clog?

Epson 2200 Clog?

2007-05-17 by stasunas

I have an Epson 2200 with MIS CFS and UT7 inks. I follow the suggested
cleaning cylcle of 3 cleans and printing a Purge page, but I have
horizontal lines that run across the Black ink and sometimes across the
Lt Black, Cyan, Lt Cyan and Yellow. I have tried cleaning and lettin it
set for several hours or a day, applying windex to the drain pad and
letting it sit none of which has resolved the Black ink position.

I have read about dirty wiper blades, but don't know if this is the
case. If so, how does one get to them and how are they cleaned?

Also if Foam or Air, how does that get resolved?

Thanks in advance,

Tony

The Purge Page is a seven column page supplied by MIS. Each column
prints ink from each of the positions.
