I just recorded an Action in CS2 on my notebook.

I want to copy the Action onto my jump drive so I can tranfer it to my
desktop computer.

The problem is, I can't find the folder with the Action I just recorded.

I checked here:

 C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Presets\Photoshop Actions

but didn't find it. I looked in other folders under CS2 and couldn't
find it either.

Am I not able to copy the Action so I can copy it onto another computer?

Thanks,
Scott

Scott,

It is more than likely in "c:\Documents and Settings
\<userid>\Application Data\Adobe\" somewhere. so that each user will
have there own space for stuff like this.

Scott,

You should be able to load your actions from the actions menu....I don¹t
recall the layout of CS2 but you should be able to click on your actions
folder....go to the flyout menu at the top of the ations
pallet/menu......save your action set to a location on your jump drive.

Then on your desktop computer go to the same flyout menu and say load
Actions.......then navigate to your jump drive. You should not have to
migrate to the folder by itself.

Paul, Drew,
Thanks, I got it.

I accidently recorded my action in the Default Action folder, so
went I went looking for it, I couldn't find it since it was
a "default".

Anyhow, thanks, guys, for getting me back on track. :>)

I assume you saved your action under an action set.

You need to copy the action set, not the individual action.

You will find them in C:\Program Files\Adobe\-Adobe Photoshop
CS2\Presets\-Photoshop Actions
