Epson Exhibition Fiber experience?

Epson Exhibition Fiber experience?

2008-01-08 by Scott Jones

Greetings,

I am evaluating many of the new photo black fiber papers and am
interested in the new Epson Exhibition Fiber for my R2400 printer.
Unfortunately Epson doesn't have sample packs or sample prints and I am
noticing that the paper is very expensive for a whole box. Can any
members weigh in with opinions and experience on this product perhaps
comparing to the other products in this catagory? My search only pulled
up one other post on this paper.

Thanks in advance.

I can only respond in the most general way, but I found it (24-inch 50 ft.
roll used on 9800) to be a very nice paper with a bit less heft than the
Museo I usually use (much lighter weight). Colors were spot on. It's surface
finish is a lot smoother but it seems to have the same almost "cardboardish"
feel that Enhanced Matte has in a heavier weight. It's not that white, but a
pleasant cream/whitish finish. I can tell you that it's a lot less
impressive than Museo when handed to a customer. Framed, it's probably fine.
Takes a mean curl on the roll and doesn't flatten easily.

This paper is not available in rolls so I am confused by your post.

Scott - you are absolutely right. I was mistaken. (Late night... Too tired.)
I was using UltraSmooth Fine Art. Sorry!
