Dual 2200s

Dual 2200s

2008-01-24 by jymbo4600

This may be a little bit OT but it would be a big help if someone knew
the solution, which I fear is quite simple and obvious.

I have 2 computers for printing. I used to have a 2200 attached to
each. One with UC inks and the other with the NK7 Piezography inks. I
have just purchased a 3800 and set it up on my main computer. So far
it's a real step up and a winner.

With the Epson lawsuit and QTR and Qimage in my computer, my plan was
to run UC inks in both 2200s with matte and photo blacks so as to be
able to print either at will.

I cannot figure out how to set up 2 identical printers on the same
computer running the same drivers. My computer only recognizes and
only sends files to one of them. What is my obvious remedy?

I thank you in advance for any suggestions.

What kind of computer, what operating system, how are the printers
connected? I have a Win2000O PC with two 2200s connected via USB and the
system shows the choice of the two printers when I start to print. I just
select the one I want to use and everything works fine.

Steve,

Thanks for the quick answer. I believe you solved my problem. I wasn't
choosing the 2nd printer when given the choice. It's working fine now.
